In 2021 after various searches I found the Van directly from Lombardy, I was looking for a means of transport that had a kitchen, a bed, a bathroom with a shower and a lot of space to be able to put the various things that I like to have with me during my adventures . This Van, Fiat Ducato 1900 Turbo Diesel from 1991 with original Concorde setup, 485 cm long and 290 cm high, reflected these characteristics and it was nice to have the opportunity to start this journey.

There were the first outings in Italy, the first nights in the van, the first times to make the maneuvers with the anxiety of getting some branches, the first times that when you take a bump all the crockery and plates are overturned in the drawers and yes, even the first few times after a few kilometers I looked in the mirror and exclaimed: "I forgot the open window!"

At the time of purchase , the Van looked like this internally , with nineties - style cushions , carpeted floor covering and violet - colored walls .

Externally, however, it looked like this, original cream-white color and small decorations on the sides, gray rims and black plastics.

After a few rides and a few kilometers lived together I decided to give it a new look, both internally and externally and so with patience and good will I began to get my hands on it

First I disassembled the benches , the table , the cushions and various other accessories present inside , after which I began to remove the violet coating from the walls .

Once I finished preparing the walls I laid the new coating, one wall I decided to make it on the brownish and another with a light gray color

Once the cladding was finished, the interior began to look much brighter and the environment changed.

Once the walls were finished, I wanted to change the floor covering, removing the carpet which was not very practical for me in various respects, such as the difficulty in cleaning, for example, after a rainy day bringing mud inside the vehicle or simply after a day in beach, so I decided to put a PVC parquet that is resistant if in contact with water and easy to clean, I also added a few jars

Once the parquet was laid, I wanted to change the color of the bench cushions and therefore I covered them with an olive green fabric, then I reassembled everything

Once the inside was finished I started work on the outside, before starting to paint I had to remove all the old paint and disassemble various parts of the vehicle.

Once this was done I armed myself with a compressed air gun to paint and I first started with the lower part with a black color and then moved on to the part of the bodywork above with a light brown, up to the beginning of the fiberglass part which I wanted to leave colored white

The painting was not very simple, adding that it was my first time and that I don't have a body shop oven, but I tried to do my best and the Magic Van totally changed its appearance, let's say it tanned a bit

We leave towards the ocean, with immense beaches and big waves and to live kilometers on the road among the roads of the world
