Laos is a country that I really liked, a country that I had heard very little about and that many skip when they go to see Southeast Asia. I assure you that it is a beautiful country where I ate very well, saw beautiful places and found good people

I entered Laos with a bus directly from Thailand, I arrived at the border where I got a visa and then we crossed the Mekong river via a bridge and so I arrived in Laos

Once there I decided to have an experience that many travelers and tourists had told me very well about, that is, take a slow boat that takes you to various destinations via the Mekong River. I chose to arrive in Luang Prabang, and it was a navigation which lasted two days, a truly beautiful experience because you have the opportunity to see these uncontaminated landscapes and on the banks of the river there are small villages that seem to have stopped in time. It's very special, really if you go to Laos I highly recommend it

In Laos you can do a lot of trekking and visit different villages, I have visited a few but when you go trekking you have to be very careful due to the possible presence of bombs dropped by the American army a few decades ago.

Another thing that I highly recommend going to see is the museum which talks about the bombs dropped in Laos to understand the gravity of the situation in which this country is placed. A museum is located in Luang Prabang, where you can see a film that explains well what happened

Laos has wonderful landscapes, such as these beautiful rivers where you can swim. The food is also really very good and the Latiano people welcomed me really well

Among the countries I have seen in South-East Asia, Laos is certainly one of my favourites, very authentic, sometimes also quite raw but certainly very fascinating

See you next time Laos and thanks again for everything
